Held within Sydney’s premier design precinct at Young Street, Waterloo, Autumn Afterhours transformed Waterloo Design Centre into an immersive showcase of contemporary surface design, natural materials and refined spatial thinking.

Guests moved through seven curated showroom environments exploring timber, textiles, joinery and surface applications.

Participating partners included Signorino Tile Gallery, Woodcut, Porcelanosa Australia, The Rug Est., Amazali, Streamline Products and Hettich Australia. Guests moved through seven curated showroom environments exploring timber, textiles, joinery and surface applications in a series of tactile and highly considered installations. Conversations unfolded between designers, specifiers, media and industry professionals, including The Local Project’s head of partnerships, Cody Pearson, and landscape architect Tylah Ingram. The evening’s culinary offering drew inspiration from the international origins of the materials on display, with guests enjoying Italian tiramisu, Spanish paella, French crepes and other seasonal dishes.
