The Freedom to Design – Blum Introduces LEGRABOX Special Edition and LEGRABOX Individual

Responding to the immense popularity of its LEGRABOX system, Blum introduces LEGRABOX Special Edition and LEGRABOX Individual – considered variations that allow clients to design with a greater sense of freedom and originality.
The original LEGRABOX system expresses an acute awareness of the demands of contemporary living, reflecting the strong relationship between Blum and its customer base. As designers seek to maximise storage space, LEGRABOX provides thin 12.8-millimetre drawer sides that ease the process of integrating the system into existing furniture. In addition, the product is specially designed to have a high load-bearing capacity of up to 70 kilograms. Innovative technology such as soft-close BLUMOTION as standard, SERVO-DRIVE electrical opening support system or TIP-ON BLUMOTION ensures that acoustic impact is minimised and the product contributes to a peaceful, luxurious environment.
The new additions to the LEGRABOX portfolio retain these features whilst turning their attention to aesthetic enhancements. In contrast to the original, LEGRABOX Special Edition champions the shade Carbon Black Matt. Featured on the inner drawer side, the colour provides a sophisticated starting point from which to create a composition of materials and finishes. Capturing Anti-fingerprint Stainless Steel, Carbon Look in Carbon Black Matt and Noble Rust, the complementary colour options are intended to appeal to a variety of aesthetic preferences whilst enabling customers to establish a bespoke final product.
LEGRABOX Individual extends the scope for customisation with opportunities for a colour and material mix, full-surface printing, partial embossing, partial printing and partial laser texturing. Custom branding or designs may be added using a printer or laser, and – with the assistance of Blum’s Design Selector tool – clients may visually coordinate each component of their system before ordering. In terms of colour, the refined palette of options includes Carbon Black Matt, Anti-fingerprint Stainless Steel, Silk White Matt and Orion Grey Matt.
