This minor but enjoyable project encompassed the makeover of the backend of a simple post-war suburban bungalow. The rear lean-to constructions were destroyed to allow the creation of a novel open plan living dining room with a connection to a garden with a suspended deck. The design of the garden includes a plunge pool, karate studio & a fresh deck in accordance with the client’s love of traditional Japanese culture.
