Act III Symposium – An Evening with Aparatus
Hosted by CRITERIA and held at the Golden Age Cinema, panel guests Gabriel Hendifar and Jeremy Anderson of New York based design studio, APARATUS, will speak Design Commentator David Clark about the intersection of Iran, design and culture in reference to APARATUS’ new collection, Act III.
Gabriel Hendifar will discuss his experience as an American born after the Islamic Revolution. He will look at the tangible idea of connection to a physical place and reference how personal cultural history can influence a collection.
The event will be followed by canapes and drinks served in the bar.

About New York based studio, APARATUS
In exploring the intersection of light, furniture and objects, the studio focuses on immersive environments and the weight of history and culture through the lens of modernisation.
Creative Director Gabriel Hendifar finds inspiration in the modernist principle of a total work of art and articulates the studio to constantly change. He draws on desire, emotional response and the things that live within spaces.
