Deconstructing Architecture: Modernism 1600 CE to 1900’s CE

As part four of the six-part series on architecture, this presentation will outline a historical timeline with careful look at Beaux Arts, City Beautiful Movement, Art Nouveau, Modernism, Bauhaus, Constructivism, Art Deco, International Style, Depression architecture, Nazi Architecture and Usonian.

Important focus will shed light on the world landscape, the environment and urban planning, prominent buildings and architectural styles, detailing, architectural personalities, methodology, notable achievements and the biggest challenges that will encourage change going forward.

This series will provide insight into how the field of architecture changed the world, how different structures and materiality came to be and how each period redefined the outcome and future of the field.
