About

The University of Sydney’s School of Architecture, Design and Planning Alumni Association will host the panel discussion, Driverless Future.

A future where driverless vehicles are part of the everyday urban experience is fast approaching. How are connected and autonomous vehicles going to impact on urban design and planning for the built form? Will the experience of driverless vehicles foster or hinder social experiences?

This panel discussion, facilitated by Jess Scully, Curator and City of Sydney Councillor, brings together experts in transport design, policy and planning, connected technologies and social research to explore the integration of driverless cars and possible implications for the experience of the urban. Case studies from the speakers own practice or research will be presented and discussed.
