Speaker series: Refitting the city – Making homes out of warehouses

Curated and introduced by local architects Sam Rigoli, Michael Zanardo and Casey Bryant, the Architecture on Show talks are presented in association with Inner West Council.

As Sydney gets denser, we need to get creative about how to provide more homes for people within existing areas. Keeping our older industrial, commercial and institutional buildings and adapting them for residential use allows us to retain much-loved local character whilst providing alternative, and sometimes innovative, ways to live.

Architect Richard Healey-Finlay will discuss his recently completed Edith Street apartments project in St Peters. Geoff Bonus, director of Bonus + Associates, will speak about his projects The Grace and Venables, both in Camperdown.

Date and time: Wednesday 3 October 2018, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm AEST

Location: St Peters/Sydenham Library, 39 Unwins Bridge Road, Sydenham, NSW 2044, Australia
