Speaker Series: Think Small V5.0 Public Spaces in the Inner West

Thoughtful and clever design can make urban streets and parks safe and vibrant places. Under-utilised laneways, reserves and ‘left-over’ spaces present exciting possibilities for new places to come alive. Through design, ordinary places can be made extraordinary.

Gemma Savio of Savio Parsons Architects, Ela Glogowska of Perumal Pedavoli Architects/ Studio [R]) and Qianyi Lim of Sibling Architecture will each speak about past and present projects. They will also make an original proposition for a new intervention in the Inner West, offering fresh thinking and identifying compelling opportunities for the future.

Curated and introduced by local architects Sam Rigoli, Michael Zanardo and Casey Bryant, the Architecture on Show talks are presented in association with Inner West Council.

Date and time: Wednesday 7 November 2018, 6:15 pm – 8:30 pm AEDT

Location: St Peters\Sydenham Library, 39 Unwins Bridge Road, Sydenham, NSW 2044, Australia
