About

Position:

Architectural Graduate

Requirements:

5+ yrs of local experience in residential architecture. Great attention to detail. AutoCAD and solid drafting skill essential. SketchUp modelling a plus.

About the Role:

InBetween Architecture is a small team of two looking to expand. They have multiple projects in various stages: from $300k renovations to $1.5m new build and from Concept Design to Contract Administration stage. The small team of two are looking for someone to share the load in drafting (SketchUp modelling would be a plus); someone who has good knowledge in documentation and with experience in residential architecture. The role is for a 6 months contract with potential to extend, part-time, ideally 3 days (Tuesday to Thursday) or 4 days (Monday to Thursday). Remuneration to be based on ACA architects award rate (subject to experience/open to negotiation). With a shoes-off office environment with very comfy carpet.

Please note this is not a job for a fresh graduate. As much as InBetween are committed to training young architects, their immediate need is for someone to start who can hit the ground running.

About the Company:

InBetween Architecture is a friendly home-office environment made up of only two architects, with an emphasis on work-life balance; their lifestyle inspires how they design for clients. Their portfolio extends to renovations, extensions, refurbishments and new builds and our hands-on approach involves working closely with clients to develop bespoke designs that satisfy brief and respect budget. Inspired by Debussy’s musings about music being the space between the notes, their approach to architecture is to focus on the experience of the spaces they create, between the walls, floors and ceilings. They strive to design calm and accesible spaces which provide sanctuary from today’s busy lifestyles. Our architecture is beautiful to look at but also, and more importantly, it is a joy to inhabit; to live inbetween.
