About The Designer

Architect and designer Simone Micheli founded the Architecture Studio in 1990 and in 2003 he created the architecture company Simone Micheli Architectural Hero together with Roberta Colla, a society based in Florence, Milan, Puntaldìa, Dubai, Rabat and Busan.

Micheli’s works range from master plans and architecture to interiors, from design to visual, through graphics, communication and events. His creations, always sustainable and environmentally conscious, are characterised by a strong identity and an unconventional approach. Many of Micheli’s works for the private and public sector in Italy have generated widespread acclaim, being recognized by leading international exhibitions and publications. A regular curator at influential architecture, design and hospitality fairs, Micheli has also been an active participant in the architecture design community both locally and internationally over the years, holding masters, conferences, workshops and lectures at universities, cultural institutes and institutions in cities around the world.

More recently, Micheli colloborated with Axolight to create Dodot – an architectural light fitting characterised by its minimalist yet highly versatile geometric form.
