Lindsey Wherrett handbasins are a timeless combination of traditional craft skills and contemporary design. Designed and handmade to quietly enrich your space and evoke a connection to the natural world.

Lindsey began her career as an architect before making the move to ceramics. This allowed her to bring her knowledge of functional design, materiality and form into this new expression.

‘Being a designer maker gives me the unbroken connection with the ideas and physical materials from beginning to end, something I always craved in architecture.’

All Lindsey’s work is created on a pottery wheel and fired under a live flame in a gas kiln. This process creates infinite opportunity for subtle variation in the forms and surface finish of each piece.
