M Coffee Table
The M-Coffee Table is the black sheep of Daniel Boddams collection of interior furniture designs. Whilst differing significantly in design from the other stunning pieces in Boddams collection, the M-Coffee Table still represents a timeless example of design excellence.
Daniel Boddam states that Le Corbusier’s modular man and the Golden Section define the proportions of the M-Coffee Table. This table is a study in scale; conceived as a simple rectangular mass hollowed out at key points producing architectural details. Steps are carved from one corner and a ‘room’ is on the other, creating a recess for books and objet d’art. An oculus has been carved into the ‘ceiling’ of this ‘room,’ bringing light to its interior, like a miniature Pantheon.
The M-Coffee Table features steps for object display, a niche for books and removable glass piece recessed on the table’s surface. Like all Daniel Boddam interior furniture items the M-Coffee Table is customisable and comes in three different finishes.
