Known for a highly considered approach to interiors, designer Jade Yarbrough has joined with co-Founder Danielle Robertson to create Merci Maison.
Merci Maison is a new aspirational, yet accessible online destination for those seeking objects celebrating form and function in the girls’ signature minimalistic yet sensuous style.
The company was brought to life when they were designing spaces for clients and often found themselves producing custom pieces to create their vision. Merci Maison had so many clients asking to custom make pieces for them that it made sense to launch their own collection that was accessible to everyone. They wanted to really push the boundaries by designing and sourcing pieces that were unique and unlike anything else in the market and not otherwise accessible.
For Merci Maison, designing their own collection was about mixing raw with refined, vintage, and modern, a juxtaposition of styles from a range of eras, to create their own signature offering in the Australian market. The textures, colour, and form of Merci’s collections come together to create a unique, timeless, and bespoke product offering. They play on the use of shapes and texture with an emphasis on sustainability.
