Redfern Residence

Redfern Residence is a contemporary reimagining of a heritage home. Working to preserve and accentuate the existing Victorian features, we gave the exterior a sleek restoration. Through a considered reconfiguration, we re-designed the home’s closed-plan layout, seeking to maximise light and airflow. The end result is a harmonious, relaxed yet refined space: an inner-city entertainer’s dream. Complementing the monochromatic colour palette, the home’s striking interior features boldly-toned contemporary artworks. Alongside the modern fixtures and styling, we paid homage to the home’s rich architectural history. With detailed cornices, the original stair-railing and wall-panels, the modern home is imbued with a traditional, timeless elegance.
