Richard King Design is the Melbourne based design practice of Interior Architect Richard King specialising in Residential and Workplace design solutions. The studio enjoys taking on residential remodelling projects that transform property, maximise potential, enhance brand recognition, attract best-in-class employee and work efficiently. Every Richard King Design project is tailored to respond to client needs, with an emphasis on modernity and sustainability. Richard King himself is an honours graduate in Interior Design in England with over 20 years’ experience working for some of the most prestigious Architectural and Interior Design practices both in England and Australia. He has formerly worked for the Architects of Federation Square and Sydney Olympic Stadium. Richard is passionate about all aspects of design and the process of building. He believes in modernity and keeping up with the latest technological and sustainability initiatives. Having worked in the United Kingdom for the bulk of his career, where the mix of sensitive preservation and contemporary adaption of historical building is prevalent, this is engrained into Richard’s design philosophy and is a constant passion. He brings a calm, methodical approach to all his projects with a clear focus on delivering the client’s vision, on time and to their satisfaction.
