Guided by Craig and Scott’s dedication to luxury with humility, the brand has perfected a truly unique post-luxury sensibility that draws inspiration from the architecture that surrounds it. The BassamFellows aesthetic combines contemporary architectural authority with a minimalist artisanal philosophy. This is encapsulated in all products, in particular the now-iconic Tractor Stool, released 20 years ago, in 2003.

From its inception, BassamFellows has been built on a philosophy of redefining modernism. Through this, the brand has formed strong relationships with leading craftspeople whilst developing innovative collab- orations across the global architecture, design and branding industries. Drawing upon the passion, history and unique ideology so integral to the BassamFellows brand, Scott and Craig forged a new home in 2018 within the Philip Johnson Building, located in Ridgefield, Connecticut USA. The historically significant ‘PJB’ is the perfect representation of Bassam Fellows as a brand and Scott and Craig as designers. The space now stands as the company’s headquarters, design studio and showroom, with a completely contemporary feel embodied within an iconic modernist building.
