Be House
by Coy Yiontis Architects
Be House in Port Phillip Victoria was designed by Coy Yiontis Architects, styled by Swee Lim of Swee Design and photographed by Peter Clarke.
The stunning residential property was designed for a client with a covetable art collection, this home sits on an urban site with spectacular views overlooking Port Phillip Bay.
Be House sits over two levels, typical planning is reversed with living and entertaining areas located on the upper floor with access to views and bedrooms below. A studio apartment over the garage at the bottom of the garden accommodates a young adult son when he’s home from working abroad.
The central courtyard at the upper level permits outdoor entertainment with view to the sea and complete transparency of the upper level from the kitchen at the rear of the main building. Artwork and furniture compliment the architecture perfectly to create a contemporary and striking home.
