Haven, the latest bespoke residence by award-winning custom home builder Latitude 37, strikes a balance that’s not always easy to achieve: perfectly harmonising with its natural environment while embracing contemporary luxury. The approach to Haven reflects thoughtful consideration of its setting. Drawing inspiration from the nearby Ranelagh Estate – designed by Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin – the home nods to both this legacy and to the iconic Australian shed vernacular. Haven’s steeply pitched roof echoes the traditional form of the latter, allowing for raked and cathedral ceilings that enhance the sense of spaciousness and tranquillity suited to coastal living.
