Orbu is a sculptural stainless steel bowl. it serves as both a functional object and a design statement—ideal as a serving bowl, planter, or standalone centerpiece.
Orbu’s form was initially conceptualized using AI, which helped generate organic, asymmetrical shapes that traditional metal-spinning techniques couldn’t achieve. To bring this intricate vision to life, each piece is lost wax cast and then semi polished to its final finish that highlights both refined curves and subtle imperfections. Each bowl is hand-finished and engraved with a unique batch number, emphasizing its individuality.

Oscar is an emerging industrial designer with a Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honours) with a Minor study in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His work is grounded in a deep interest in how design can shape everyday experiences through thoughtful, well-resolved objects. With a foundation in both design and business, Oscar brings a strategic mindset and a values-led approach to each project. He is particularly drawn to design challenges that balance aesthetics with function, and that invite fresh ways of thinking.
