Balgownie II
by Dayne Lawrie Constructions
The second Balgownie project by Dayne Lawrie Constructions continues their strong design association with the utopian suburb of Peregian Springs on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
This architecturally designed home embodies a muted palette of marble, white painted casement windows, internal spotted gum timber features and burnished concrete flooring with an intentional connection to golf course views that form part of the landscape.
The thoroughness and accuracy in the attention to detail has been achieved through hand built spotted gum bench seating that forms part of the cooking and dining area, hand built open shelving in the kitchen and laundry, a large entrance pivot door with a custom spotted gum handle plus much more.
The master bedroom continues the white aesthetic of the home. The bedrooms rely on a minimalist design to accentuate the beautiful natural Australian materials that have been used throughout the home.
Open plan spaces and large entrance ways have been used to regulate air flow and in the process control the tropical Queensland heat.
The kitchen is the focal point of the home. An eye catching white marble island has been designed to assist with meal preparation and social interaction. This visually stunning space is a dream for anyone cook or home entertaining enthusiast.
The incredible Balgownie II Project by Dayne Lawrie Constructions ensures that the DLC team continues to make their presence felt throughout the Sunshine Coast. DLC continue to design and build homes befitting of the idyllic tropical paradise within which they are located.
