Many Little is another impressive addtion by Hecker Guthrie to the naturally beautiful surroundings of the Victorian Peninsula.

Harvested from the established rich heritage of Polperro Winery, and the client behind its inception, Many Little is a fine edition to a lineage of iconic placemaking within Red Hill. The project sits adjacent to a restaurant previously designed by Hecker Guthrie.

Overlooking enviable views of the adjoining vineyard, the restaurant is dotted with intimate spaces, catering from both local and visiting clientele. Drawing inspiration from the diverse rural setting, the emphasis is on introducing a refined element to all the details and their execution. The views of the muted green landscape perfectly frame the internal palette, bringing the beauty of the surrounds inward through textural brick, terrazzo and rich timber elements.

The design for Many Little by Hecker Guthrie was harvested from the established rich heritage of Polperro Winery.

Objects and furniture were placed within the restaurant, to create a varying landscape of enclosures, incorporating a sense of the artisan or craft in the detailing of each element – a handmade quality. These are the elements in each project that Hecker Guthrie gain the most satisfaction from.
