Cheah Saw Architecture restored and reorganised a historic cottage for a young family, creating a generous space that is closely connected to the external environment and boasts an abundance of natural light.

With a tight budget, designers chose a sustainable approach to material and build. The architecture is stripped down to its essentials and the Australian plantation-grown Hoop Pine acts as a unifying texture throughout the house.
