Pinky’s is the reimagining of a boathouse in Sydney’s Vaucluse by Akin Atelier & 360 degrees Landscape Architecture.
Located on Sydney Harbour, Pinky’s was designed with a nod to the previous owner – a sailor and naval engineer – and tie it in with the mood and personality of the current residents.
The boathouse adjoins a family home with terraced gardens leading down to the water’s edge, and so Pinky’s became an interior living solution for the family who spends so much time down by the water.
Custom oak & rattan cabinetry conceals a bar fridge, glassware and a cooktop which opens out to the terrace with an awning window.
The boathouse is open to northern and eastern aspects creating a light-filled space.
