Creativity is unleashed with Laminam’s pioneering porcelain surfaces, which are designed with aesthetics in mind and can be applied to everything from cladding and flooring to kitchen worktops and bathrooms.

Innovation is embedded in the very DNA of Laminam, which was founded in the early 2000s to bring tech-forward porcelain slabs to the ceramic market. Its large-scale surfaces, available in varying thicknesses, offer unparalleled versatility to architects and designers when bringing their creative visions to life. This innovative ethos has been woven into the company’s practices in the years since, leading to the largest range of colours, thicknesses, finishes and formats available today.

Laminam’s R&D department and technological laboratory keep the company at the forefront of the latest innovations. Every product is designed in Italy, and the vast range can be applied everywhere from cladding and facades to flooring, kitchen worktops, bathrooms and furnishings.

The installation of Laminam’s surfaces in heavily trafficked spaces or on exterior facades requires durability – and they live up to the task. Laminam’s innovative technology compacts natural materials together to create a surface that has almost zero porosity. It is hygienic, easy to clean and stain resistant, while remaining impervious to scratches and stains and immune to high and low temperatures while withstanding UV radiation.

The In-Side series harnesses cutting-edge technology to create an entirely new product: ‘ceramic stone’, which echoes the look of classic Italian stones such as Porfido.

The company’s innovative spirit is also reflected in its aesthetic approach. Natural materials such as slate, travertine and Carrara marble are exactingly reproduced in the range, using a careful shaping and sintering procedure. Laminam offers 16 collections, each celebrating a different natural element or phenomenon. The Oxide range, for example, mimics the oxidisation process to create metallic-effect ceramic surfaces that elicit textural visual depth, while the In-Side series harnesses cutting-edge technology to create an entirely new product: ‘ceramic stone’, which echoes the look of classic Italian stones such as Porfido and Piasentina. Every product is available in an array of finishes – from natural to polished and flamed – as well as in various sizes, surface colours and textures.

Laminam has a deep respect for the environment and sustainability is crucial to its operations. Each product’s in-built durability ensures longevity and prevents the slabs contributing to landfill in the long-term. Beyond that inherent life-span, every element of the production process – from a product’s inception down through the supply chain to interactions with the community – is imbued with a sustainability bent.

The company requires its suppliers to adhere to a specific carbon footprint, meet human rights and labour standards and actively contribute to environmental protection.
