Inspired by the rich and diverse Australian landscape, the latest statement pieces to join Ross Gardam’s Breeze Collection speak to earthy tones and bold finishes.

Following the success of the original Breeze collection, the Ross Gardam studio has introduced a series of renewed pieces to the contemporary collection. The striking new designs are ethically produced and hand-crafted in Melbourne by local manufacturers and artisans.

The experimental elliptical shapes are an extension of Ross Gardam’s continual reinvention of contemporary design.

The latest designs include amokey black and bronze reflective mirror tops, as well as a locally sourced Australian Emperador marble. “We are always seeking new materials and processes to work with,” says Ross Gardam. “The Emperador is sourced from a quarry located in Queensland and is at its base a black marble, however the combination of the rich red and white veins give it an amazingly unique connection to place.”

With the additions to the Breeze Collection, the studio – a team of designers, engineers and makers – continues to invite innovation and a layered experience to shape, form and function. “These bold new finish options capture and reflect the essence of Australia’s unique and varied environment, creating a striking focal point in any space,” explains Ross.

The studio’s methodology informs the practice and developmental process, with considered manufacturing being reflected throughout every aspect of design, from material selection through to the packaging.

The collection suits a range of interiors, both residential and commercial, as each product is considered and treated at the highest standard. Having this understanding of material and craft means that each piece is imbued with subtle inclinations that nod to the studio’s interest in historical and ritualistic references.

Available in Australia and Sinagpore through Stylecraft, the Breeze Collection is produced using plate aluminium, which is cut, bent and seized together via three fasteners. Altogether, the current collection features a side table, two coffee tables, and a dining or multi-purpose table in a variety of sizes.
