“I personally have always felt deeply uncomfortable when immersed in dark waters where I couldn’t see the bottom,” explains Chris, “and this project attempts to explore those fears about unseen revelations potentially lying just below the surface.” Choosing to focus on the characteristics of water and its uncharted existence through time, Chris unveils a deeply captivating collection that asks the viewer to consider what lurks in the depths and expands upon the fact that life could not exist without water.

In the catalogue’s limited run of 50 printed editions, Chris has captured the power of water and the effects it has over humans and the land. With an exhibition currently in production, Dark Waters will soon captivate many more when it comes to Sydney later this year.
