Australia’s leading contemporary design and art event, DENFAIR, will hold an annual Sydney event starting next year.
The event will be in addition to Melbourne’s DENFAIR with plans to hold two shows each year.
DENFAIR brings together the brightest talent from local and international brands to a concentrated audience of architects, interior designers, stylists, specifiers and retailers.
After the continued success and growth of the Melbourne event, organisers received many requests from both exhibitors and attendees to hold a second show in Sydney.
Co-Founder Thibaud Cau-Cecile said the feedback was overwhelming and DENFAIR is responding to a need for exhibitors to reach a wider audience by finding it a second home.
“It’s really humbling to see the show go from strength to strength and see the design community embrace the show with such enthusiasm,” said Cau-Cecile.
The highly curated nature of the show and the stimulating environment of discovery and inspiration has made DENFAIR a hit with designers/ artists and the design/ art passionate public alike.
Co-founder Claudio Oyarce said the intent was to keep the show to a manageable size, and with the increasing demand from the design community, the decision to hold a second show in Sydney was an obvious one.
“We want the show to be intimate enough to move around in a single day knowing that our visitors are time poor. Offering two shows permits an increase in visitation as we are closer to a wider audience,” said Oyarce.
DENFAIR Sydney 2018 will be held at the Hordern Pavillion from August 16th to 18th 2018.
