Since opening in 2021, CAV’ART Designer Stone has earned a reputation for a diverse range of premium stones, personalised service and a deep understanding of the design community’s needs.
“We’re not just here to sell stone,” says CAV’ART owner and managing director Nathan Karpenko. “We want to guide clients through the process so they’re confident in their selections and love the end result.” The team take a consultative approach, especially for clients overwhelmed by the variety of options. “We don’t rush the process,” says Karpenko. “We take time to understand what the client is after.
“Our priority is to guide them to what’s best for their project, ensuring the stone looks great and works for the space. That means getting an understanding of how they live – whether it’s a kitchen where they cook often and need durability, or a city apartment where they dine out more often. Our goal is to find the right balance between design and functionality for each unique space.”

A recent project in Putney, Sydney, highlights this ethos. CAV’ART collaborated with Anita Nader Interior Design to create a home that showcases the sophistication and beauty of natural stone. Adana White dolomite, chosen for its elegant veining and durability, features prominently in the kitchen and butler’s pantry. It’s also used in the walk-in robe, creating a smooth transition between private and shared spaces.
A particularly striking element of the design is the fireplace wall clad in Negresco quartzite, which extends effortlessly out to the alfresco barbecue area and exterior walls. This flow between indoor and outdoor spaces is complemented by a Storm Grey limestone plinth, which adds both contrast and refinement to the overall design.
