ExoTec Façade Panel and System by James Hardie
Designed for commercial building façades, ExoTec Façade Panel and System by James Hardie is a non-combustible, smooth-sanded compressed fibre cement panel. The product works with the James Hardie metal Top Hat System to create geometric designs, while the option of either concealed fasteners or purposely exposed ones offers design possibilities. The façade panel can be painted onsite in an extensive range of acrylic textures – as seen at Brighton Secondary College in Victoria, making for a striking contribution to the exterior façade – or factory finished off-site in polyurethane or metallic colours – an option that was chosen for Dovetree Aged Care in Sinnamon Park, Queensland. Engineered for durability, ExoTec is resistant to fire, termites, rot and moisture damage. ExoTec Façade Panel and System also offers quick installation thanks to its proprietary fixing system, meaning it is a cost-effective and uniquely customisable product for contemporary commercial builds.

Vulcan Brushed Finish Cladding and Protector Oil Range by Abodo
Creating with confidence is the key philosophy behind Abodo’s premium weatherboard timber – an idea that rings especially true of the carbon negative Vulcan Cladding in the latest brushed finish. Abodo Vulcan Cladding is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, guaranteeing the product comes from responsibly managed sources. The brushed finish perfectly mimics the patina that softwood timbers develop over time with exposure to wind and driving rain, replicating these natural characteristics by using a state-of-the-art machine with which a series of abrasive brushes scour the timber to reproduce nature’s efforts. This beautiful effect is maintained by Abodo’s Protector Oil that nourishes and protects the timber. The water borne penetrator uses the latest technology to create a formulation that is better for people and the environment, combining refined plant oils, UV protection, advanced water barrier composition and an enhanced fungicidal package that enhances and prolongs the exterior protection of the home. Using the Protector Oil helps to maintain the integrity of the Vulcan Cladding brushed finish’s textured appearance. With the extension of two new colours, white and natural swatch, the Protector Oil offers the chance to create many different visual effects for exteriors.
