ForestOne launches its biggest-ever EGGER Decorative Collection – featuring 41 new decors and colours – to the Australian market.

ForestOne officially launched the 2024 EGGER Decorative Collection – the biggest in the company’s history – at the Sydney Design Show in June. The new collection comprises 81 decors, 41 of them new, bringing the best of European trends to the Australian architectural and design market.

“Tailored specifically for the Australian market, the collection embodies both current and emerging trends across multiple design sectors.”

The collection was curated on the back of a series of intensive colour workshops ForestOne hosted across Australia in November 2023, where more than 200 designers voted on which colours they wanted to see in the new range. “This extensive data was meticulously gathered, analysed and aligned with current and emerging colour trends, laying the foundation for the innovative new ForestOne EGGER 2024 collection,” says Annette Fanna, ForestOne specification representative and colour specialist.

EGGER’s 2024 Decorative Collection evokes passion, tranquillity and energy. The collection introduces new variations to the already impressive range, giving designers more possibilities to create spaces that speak to their style. “Tailored specifically for the Australian market, the collection embodies both current and emerging trends across multiple design sectors,” says Fanna. “Our goal was to address gaps and introduce new trending decors that were absent in our previous range, resulting in a more cohesive and diverse collection.”

The range offers myriad colour and decorative choices, in a stunning range of new hues including muted variations of red, blue and green.

The range offers myriad colour and decorative choices, in a stunning range of new hues including muted variations of red, blue and green and a broader range of lighter oak tones. The colours reflect the continued embrace of colour in interiors, as the monochrome interior design schemes that have dominated both Australian residential and commercial projects in recent years give way to fresher, brighter spaces.

Architects and designers can now specify colours like the feminine Antique Rose, fresh Baltic Blue, dramatic Garnet Red, subtle Olive Green, tranquil Ocean Blue, soft Sand Yellow, rich Truffle Brown and bold Curry Yellow, as well as a range of more neutral tones including Carat Beige, Taupe Grey and Almond Beige.

The collection reflects ForestOne’s commitment to sustainability, with EGGER’s new particleboard now consisting of 76 per cent recycled content.

There’s an equally impressive range of new decors, from Anthracite Candela Marble, with the appearance of a marble-concrete blend, and Bronze Brushed Metal, a warm, sanded-metal-look offering, to Acapulco, reminiscent of classic sisal, and Crystal Marble, with a white base and warm grey overtones. New woodgrains include Brown Warmia Walnut, a warm brown tone with darker highlights; Sand Orleans Oak, ideal for use in backgrounds and with white decors; White Casella Oak, a soft offering with an elegant floret pattern; and Light Lakeland Acacia, a timeless colour with a slight grey content.

The collection reflects ForestOne’s commitment to sustainability, with EGGER’s new particleboard now consisting of 76 per cent recycled content (24 per cent post-consumer and 52 per cent post-industrial). ForestOne believe in helping empower designers to ‘Specify Responsibly’ by offering more sustainable product choices featuring the latest designs relevant to the Australian market.
