GlobeWest’s Collections 2025 Volume 02
With the concept of shelter at its core, GlobeWest’s latest furniture release for 2025 has been designed to bring warmth and texture to Australian interiors.
GlobeWest never does anything by halves. Its newest release, Collections 2025 Volume 02, introduces seven distinct ranges and more than 210 new styles, designed to enrich both residential and commercial spaces. The pieces embody warmth, texture and materiality and have been crafted to complement both Australian interiors and our laidback lifestyle.
From their Melbourne-based creative hub, GlobeWest’s design and product teams have drawn inspiration from retreat-like forms to craft pieces that evoke a sense of calm and sanctuary. “We design and build the range with intention, creating pieces that endure and bring timeless beauty to spaces,” says Keti Lytras, GlobeWest’s head of creative. “Every detail in our collection reflects our team’s dedication to craftsmanship and premium design.”
A key influence for Volume 02 of Collections 2025 is “shelter,” which embodies the notion of home as a sanctuary. As Lytras explains, “Shelter, in essence, speaks to one of my favourite quotes: ‘Home is not where you were born; home is where all your attempts to escape cease,’ by the Nobel Prize-winning Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz. It’s about embracing a sanctuary filled with gratitude, enriched by organic and raw elements.”
The ethos of this trend is reflected in the collection’s focus on softness, comfort and tactility. Powder-coated frames in monochromatic hues – including bone, cashmere and matte syrah (a deep maroon) – introduce a sophisticated yet versatile aesthetic, while modular sofas balance form and function with generous seating and streamlined silhouettes. Standout pieces from the collection include the Willa marble buffet, Felix Orbit modular sofa, Piccolo barstool and Elba dining table.
For GlobeWest’s dedicated design team, each new piece is a labour of love. Of Willa, product designer Ness Chidgey, says that the “mirrored ellipse legs are a key feature, creating a beautiful side view and making sure the piece isn’t just tucked away but meant to be seen.” Fellow designer Van Di Francesco sees the Felix Orbit as bringing modern appeal to both residential and commercial spaces. “We’ve introduced a new design element – a black sectional side table that’s interchangeable based on your preferred configuration. The ottoman follows the sofa’s unique curve, while the clean lines and moss or grey fabric contribute to its sleek, contemporary vibe.”
Materiality plays a defining role, bringing together a rich interplay of textures, finishes and tones. The contrast of matte and stainless-steel frames is complemented by marble surfaces in travertine and ocean-inspired hues. Upholstered pieces introduce fresh silhouettes in sleek velvet, textured weaves and speckled fabrics, adding depth and tactility. A palette of rich, evocative hues and soft neutrals – such as hay and chickpea – harmonises with warm timbers like smoked ash and walnut, reinforcing the collection’s sense of natural warmth and enduring style.
Guided by a deep understanding of Australian design sensibilities, GlobeWest continues its legacy of creating distinctive furniture and homewares that transform everyday living. Created with designers in mind, Collections 2025 Volume 02 effortlessly integrates into a wide range of interiors, from private residences to commercial spaces across the country.
