Taking inspiration from the landscapes of Peru, CTRL Space has imbued INCA Ponsonby with a textural and material palette that complements a vibrant menu from celebrity chef and owner Nic Watt.
Affected by sourcing issues presented by the pandemic, CTRL Space turned its focus towards employing materials that could be hand-applied and finishes that would heighten guests’ experiences. Consequently, plasterwork and handwoven features, alongside a palette of earthy and inviting colours, were selected to negate the supply constraints and reflect INCA Ponsonby’s Peruvian and Japanese menu. Positioning the hearth at the heart of the restaurant, CTRL Space has created a warm and welcoming gastronomic environment in which to savour sensational food.
