LightCo’s New Melbourne Showroom
A new showroom in Melbourne’s Cremorne design precinct reflects LightCo’s commitment to offering a comprehensive range of decorative lighting solutions and peerless customer service.
For almost two decades, LightCo has supplied premium lighting for both commercial and high-end residential projects across Australia and New Zealand, and is home to an impressive and distinctive portfolio of some of the world’s leading lighting brands. Now, LightCo has expanded its physical presence with the opening of a new showroom in the vibrant Cremorne design precinct in Melbourne, sister to a Sydney showroom in Alexandria.
“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Melbourne and to join the creative energy of the Cremorne area,” says Roy Doron, LightCo’s founder and managing director. “The showroom is designed to inspire and showcase the best in lighting design, making it a go-to destination for designers, architects and homeowners alike. It also reinforces our commitment to innovation and quality, positioning LightCo as the premier destination for lighting inspiration and solutions.”
The beautifully designed and curated space is home to a comprehensive collection of indoor and outdoor decorative lighting that complements a range of design aesthetics. LightCo’s roster of brands spans local and international makers, selected for their ability to transform spaces through a sublime combination of form and function. Additionally, “a brand must meet our strict standards of quality for us to work together,” Doron says. “Having collaborated with like-minded brands for almost 20 years –prioritising quality, original design and integrity – we ensure our products endure and maintain a strong relationship of trust with our customers.”
Those brands include Il Fanale, Bomma, Lighting Republic, J. Adams & Co, Bert Frank, Karman and Northern. Their pieces are displayed to great effect in the new space in a series of elegant vignettes, helping clients to envisage how the lights will work in their own homes or A&D projects. Highlights include the Buoy Double Cone pendant light by Bomma, inspired by maritime buoys and elegant and minimal in form; the knitted polyester Tradition pendant light from Northern, designed by Morten & Jonas; and J. Adams & Co’s striking linear Strata pendant light, also available in a wall variation.
LightCo’s diverse collections are complemented by a respectful, human-centric approach to customer service, which is a key aspect of the company’s ethos. “We are dedicated to fostering strong relationships with both industry professionals and consumers. And we are also committed to providing exceptional customer service, and this has reinforced our reputation in the lighting industry and has been integral to our steady expansion,” Doron says. The new showroom – at 12-14 Gordon Street, Cremorne – enhances LightCo’s mission to provide high-quality, innovative lighting products that meet the diverse needs of its clientele.
