Contemporary Australian brand nau reveals a first look at the 2022 collection by Adam Goodrum before it is unveiled at Design Show Australia from October 20 – 22. Channelling practicality and luxury with long lines and wide proportions, the Lincoln range is joined by the Furl Coat Stand and Nest Table.

Showcased at Design Show Australia 2022, Cult presents its in-house brand nau’s range of sofas alongside the Furl Coat Stand and Nest Table by Australian designer Adam Goodrum. Held at the ICC Sydney, Design Show Australia exhibits interior, architectural and fit-out solutions from leading brands, designers and manufacturers. Offering a glimpse into the ease and glamour of Australian designed pieces, Cult has cultivated a fit-out at the event reminiscent of a living space, inviting guests to experience nau’s Lincoln firsthand.

From long lines forming and framing the sofa’s base to the widened proportions of the seats and inner armrests, the Lincoln range carves a minimalistic and distinctive expression.

From long lines forming and framing the sofa’s base to the widened proportions of the seats and inner armrests, the Lincoln range carves a minimalistic and distinctive expression. Inspired by the 1970s Lincoln Continental, Lincoln is designed with set sofa widths, though single seat, ottomans and side table additions can also be added through customisation options. Similarly, Lincoln can be configured with no armrests, closed in sides or alternatively in an L-shape to allow for connection in the home space, alongside customised upholstery for the cushioned seat, back and armrest. Each lounge in the range is attached to a sleek timber base and formed into its customised shape, finished with a choice of angled legs in either brushed stainless steel or powder-coated mild steel.

Similar innovations designed by Adam and from nau’s latest range include the Furl Coat Stand and Nest Table. Furl Coat Stand provides an elegant and functional addition to the home space and is available in walnut, oak and black-stain oak. From a solid circular tree trunk or timber length, the stand is cut into quadrants, steam bent to spread out like the roots of a tree and fashioned with brass pegs for bags and coats. Originally released in 2016 and available in timber, Nest Table has been refashioned in 2022 with monochrome colour options in red, green, blue and grey. Designed as a set of two, the Nest Table can be placed together or separately to fit within individual spaces.
