Championing authentic and high-quality design, MCM House is dedicated to elevating and enhancing a home’s individual style with curated contemporary pieces. Placing emphasis on crafting an interminable legacy, the range extends across furniture and lighting, textiles and artwork.

The furniture and homewares brand was founded in 2005 by Charles Hinckfus, who originally began working in the industry buying and selling antique furniture – a valuable skill set that has laid the foundations for MCM House’s collections ever since. Defined by an unsurpassed reputation for curating both iconic and contemporary pieces, MCM House takes influence from bold yet clean lines and modern functionality, celebrating accessible price points and a definitively relaxed Australian lifestyle.

Each piece within MCM House’s offering is selected with a steadfast commitment to quality, premium design for the Australian way of living. The brand’s most recent campaign, A Weekend with MCM House, was shot at The Wensley in Wensleydale, Victoria, and focused on bringing to life a visual expression of the refined sensibility and effortless character instilled within MCM House’s very essence. The milieu provided the ideal background for the collection; with Charles originally from Geelong and the brand’s most recent showroom opening in Melbourne, the country Victoria location made for a resonant pairing.

The collection – which includes pieces such as the Lottie Floor Lamp, New York Sectional Plain Glass Mirror and Joe Sofa – balances Australian coastal and countryside aesthetics alongside MCM House’s distinguished versatile and minimal silhouettes. Accentuating materials imbued with classic charm – such as steel, stone, linen, textured rattan and reclaimed timber – every product aids in crafting a sanctuary distinct to each customer. Three pieces of note featured within the campaign are the Jean Modular, Remi Dining Chair and the Outdoor Banga Rectangular Dining Table. The Jean Modular embraces a tactile and elegant form, featuring luxurious cushions and a square-shaped upholstered arm; the curved form of the Remi Dining Chair allows for the perfect combination of comfort and style; whilst the opulent Outdoor Banga Rectangular Dining Table echoes the aspirational ambience of an idyllic getaway.

Advocating for both timeless and contemporary design, the brand’s premium offerings are purposefully developed in accordance with an attainable price and speak to a distinctly Australian approach to design.
