Embodying the same clarity with which Mr.P approaches the process of bringing to life an architectural visualisation, the studio’s space by Ritz & Ghougassian is a refined and contemporary interpretation of workplace design.

Working alongside designers and architects to aid in bringing their work to life through visualisations both realistic and emotive calls for a solid foundation. Through that same methodology, the Mr.P studio space has been conjured as a series of bold and yet restrained insertions, reinforcing the already clean and uninterrupted lines of the building it sits within. Together with Ritz & Ghougassian, the studio emerges as a clearly delineated series of zones both dedicated to focused work, while also functionally adaptable to allow for the creative process to unfurl and animated input from clients. The contemporary approach is a welcomed balance to the heritage rich surrounds that offers a distinct point of difference, aligning with the studio and their offering.

With deliberately low lighting, the experience within the studio is deliberately muted, emphasised through a dark interior and a play on textures.

From out clean and linear approach of Ritz & Ghougassian, the way in which the Mr.P team operates emerges. Diverting from a typified understanding of a digital workspace, where working within imagined worlds amongst clutter is expected, this space could not be more defiant. It strikes its own balance of calm and order through the spatial internal arrangements and the clear separation between production and presentation. The resulting space is divided through a shared spine and communal space, with private meeting rooms to one side and workspaces to the other, all expressed through a shared restraint.

With deliberately low lighting, the experience within the studio is deliberately muted, emphasised through a dark interior and a play on textures. Stainless steel is used extensively to divide the spaces, while exposed polished concrete is warmed through the insertion of silk rugs underfoot and textile rattan-wrapped furniture insertions. Accentuating a reprising rhythm in the space, custom furniture is dotted throughout, becoming a binding agent between the shell and the philosophies of space making and acts as the conduit between the people and architecture. Projector screens are then used to add moving or still images within the central volume, interchangeable at any time.

Through its controlled approach, Mr.P Studio brings composure together with an engaged and considered detailing. Ritz & Ghougassian has created an innate feeling through the interactions between the natural and the crafted.
