Founded in 2020, Nook Collections began as an online lighting destination, sharing insightful lighting knowledge with the A&D community. “I have a genuine passion for talking about lighting and love the process of collaborating with clients to create the ideal ambience for their spaces,” says Monica Pomingi, the founder of Nook Collections. As the brand continued to flourish, Pomingi recognised the need for a physical space to showcase Nook’s expansive lighting collection. This vision found its home in a historic building in Sydney’s inner-city suburb of Surry Hills.
With soaring four-metre-plus ceilings, the space allows for the grand display of oversized pieces, accentuating the dramatic impact of scale. The showroom is an essential conduit, linking clients to the world of exquisite lighting with expert guidance, timeless design – whether it’s for a home or commercial project – and thoughtfully curated offerings from 40-plus international and Australian brands. With more than 15 years of expertise, the Nook team’s knowledge and insights enrich every visit, emphasising lighting’s impact on emotions and mood.
