Offering a selection of bold and dynamic homewares, furniture and lighting, Qeeboo is an uplifting addition to the DOMO brand portfolio. The furniture store now stocks a selection of Qeeboo pieces, including Kong XS, Golden Brothers, Filicudi Armchair, Turtle Carry Coffee Table and Paris Lamp.

Exemplifying the brand’s playful spirit, Kong XS is a compact light showcasing the proud form of a gorilla. Designed by the founder of Qeeboo, Stefano Giovannoni, the graphic work illuminates in humorous fashion from the outstretched arm of the animal and can be adjusted to change the direction of its beams. Expressing the same sense of creative joy, Golden Brothers encapsulates a small collection of portable, rechargeable lamp characters that assume playful postures. Golden Brothers Bob, Sam, Ron, Joe and Tom enliven spaces with a gold finish and have the potential to be placed together in order to form a bespoke visual scene. In addition to Kong XS and Golden Brothers, colourful Paki offers an artistic interpretation of an elephant. Following the soft contours of the animal, the piece joins

The Filicudi Armchair and Turtle Carry Coffee Table are designed in a collaboration between Qeeboo and Marcantonio. The armchair is inspired by characteristics typical of Mediterranean designs, brought to fruition as a distinguished yet comfortable interior element. Inspired by the unique profile of a prickly pear, the armchair is comprised of padded petal-like forms branching out from the central seat – the experience of the chair is one of exotic escapism. Indicating similar intent, Turtle Carry Coffee Table connects users to the natural environment through the lens of fantasy and surrealism. Above a carapace of a turtle sits a wooden table, eliciting curiosity and promising to amuse within a traditional domestic setting.

In contrast, Studio Job – an experimental art and design studio – contributes to the Qeeboo collection with Paris Lamp. Paying homage to the Eiffel Tower’s iconic form, Paris Lamp is purposefully bent at its top to support an adjustable, dome-like brass diffuser. Despite representing a light-hearted reimagination of the architectural work, the lighting piece retains the timeless quality of the original structure. Other products celebrated within DOMO and Qeeboo’s partnership includes Front’s Loop Chair – distinguished by its elegant motif back – and a series of ceramic vases by Marco Oggian. Especially commissioned by Qeeboo, the vases are defined by animal, human or plant figures and feature striking bursts of primary colours.
