the return to work post-pandemic, ZETR has released the ZETR 25 series, a compact charging station that seamlessly blends into its surrounds. Striving to connect people, places and public spaces, the ZETR 25 series looks towards the future as a customisable and sustainable charger with a sleek design.

ZETR’s new 25 series enables a faster and simpler connection to high-powered charging. With its linear metal faceplate and sleek electrical underneath, the ZETR 25 series is intended to blend seamlessly into custom-designed furniture for the workplace and public sectors. Designed for a range of spaces such as libraries, universities, airport terminals, hotels and workplaces, the ZETR 25 series seeks to bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality.

Available with individually configured two-, four- or eight-port options, the ZETR 5 series removes the need for 240-volt power in current desk systems.

Available with individually configured two-, four- or eight-port options, the ZETR 25 series removes the need for 240-volt power in current desk systems. “We set out to redesign the traditional desk box system as it hadn’t really changed for many years,” explains Garth Elliot, Director and Lead Designer at ZETR. He adds, “the result is a completely new product that enhances convenience for the end user while staying true to our design principles.” Comprising single systems to power a range of devices, the streamlined modular units which accommodate USB-C, USB-A, HDMI and DATA ports, require just one cable, enabling faster access to high-powered data charging. “Creating the cleanest and most flexible system possible that leaves only a narrow metal inlay visible once fitted and is still simple to install and service is important to us,” says Garth.

The ZETR 25 series encourages the shift to a more sustainable charging model and supports the decrease in global electronic waste by reducing the reliance upon multiple power adaptors and charging packs. “We’ve seen a comprehensive global shift towards USB-C as the new industry standard in the small and medium-size device market,” says Garth. “Europe is at the forefront of this transition, and we are seeing manufacturers across the world apply the ‘one adaptor, one cord’ model for charging and data transfer.” Alongside this shift, the ZETR 25 series delivers high-output capabilities with an undermount enclosure that holds an internationally certified energy supply, meaning it quickly and efficiently charges power-intensive devices.
