About

Architecture On Show (AOS) – JPE Design Studio presents Prospect (CLIC)

JPE Design Studio is Australia’s oldest architecture firm now over 165 years old. JPE is responsible for more than one hundred of Adelaide’s buildings including the Adelaide Railway Station, designed in 1925 and based on New York’s Grand Central Terminal as well as The Wave, which stands out over the Adelaide skyline with its curvilinear façade and The Adelaide High School New Learning Centre (the Charles Todd Building). Recently JPE was a finalist in the Adelaide Contemporary competition with Danish firm BIG and collaborated with Snøhetta to deliver University of South Australia’s (UniSA) new flagship building, Pridham Hall.

Hosted by the Australian Institute of Architect, Architecture on Show (AOS) welcomes the design team from JPE Design Studio who will provide insight into the design process and community engagement that created the City of Prospect’s new Community Hub, Library and Innovation Centre (CLIC) on Prospect Road, due for completion in 2019. AOS is an initiative of the Australian Institute of Architects. The architect speaker series aims to promote opportunity for better spaces and places through greater community connection and a clearer understanding of the design profession.
