About the speakers

Thomas Z. Scarangello, P.E.
Chairman and CEO

Tom Scarangello leads the strategic direction and oversight of the firm while also being highly engaged with clients, projects and staff development. He has more than 35 years of experience in the structural engineering of projects, from long-span sports and entertainment arenas and stadiums to high-rise commercial and mixed-use buildings.

Ray Daddazio

President of Thornton Tomasetti, Ray Daddazio serves on the industry advisory committee for Columbia University’s Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics. Ray provides strategic and operational leadership across the firm. Prior to his election as Weidlinger Associates president in 2006 (which merged with Thornton Tomasetti in 2015), Ray was director of the firm’s Applied Science division.
