DRF Residence
by Mim Design
DRF Residence is a revival of an Elsternwick home in Melbourne CBD.
Mim Design created a stunning internal transformation from a dark Edwardian home of cramped spaces and unusable spaces, to modern sanctuary, whilst maintaining respect to the architectural era of the home’s original style.
The result is a complimentary fusion of art deco design and modern contemporary interior.
By opening each space, each room now easily flow between each other, creating an entirely new look and feel to the home, which includes the access of natural light throughout the day, lighting up each space.
Soft furnishings have been added throughout the house, along with the layering of materials, a soft palette of greys and off whites with accents of black added a timeless brilliance to the interior, respecting the Edwardian architecture.
