by Altereco Design

Fairway to Heaven is a rustic contemporary design, created for a modern family, and one avid golfer.
Fairway to Heaven is a two-storey residence which sits in a gold course estate. Located in Barwon Heads, this house been designed around a modern family of four, which includes one avid golfer.
With the home owner’s father-in-law working in concrete, the decision was made to create a comfy home, which celebrated all things concrete and natural timber, creating a modern rustic home.
Designers Altereco incorporated natural materials into the build, such as recycled Australian hardwoods, which help hero and accentuate the concrete’s natural beauty and create a stunning modern rustic contemporary design.
Design of the house also incorporates a concrete ‘spine’ from front to back, which offers glimpses of the courtyard and a line of sight straight to the to the golf course.
Altereco experimented well with the use of concrete throughout each space, with the mixing of black concrete and various finishes, they have a created a stunning fusion of modern industrial design, with the natural softness of a rustic outlay.
The finished product is a well thought home easily designed to entertain guests, or sit back and enjoy the scenic surrounding golf course in private.
