From The Architects
This freestanding household is situated on a small block within a conservation area. The main obstacle was adding a modern element to an existing Californian bungalow on an open corner. The end-result encompasses a folded zinc roof with brick, steel, timber and glass to compliment and transition to the original home.
From The Architects
Originally, the home had no usable outdoor area. Therefore, a split-level design was utilized to maximize the apparent space, linking the main living room with a newly built garden and raised deck.
