Jac + Jack Bondi Beach
by George Livissianis
Jac + Jack Bondi Beach is a special store for the brand and its founders, Jac and Lisa, and George Livissianis’s ongoing relationship with the brand has enabled the design studio to refine and develop its work to align with the brand’s effortless luxury.
Jac+ Jack founders Jacqueline Hunt and Lisa ‘Jack’ Dempsey opened their Bondi Beach store in 2016, a natural next step for the brand. Jac and Jack Bondi is the fifth Jac and Jack store that George Livissianis has collaborated on.
Interior Architect George Livissianis was briefed to create an environment that was elevated yet accessible and comfortable whilst reflecting the distinctive style of his Sydney and Melbourne Jac+ Jack store designs. These principles shape the material choice, the interior planning and the balance between colour texture, luxury and rawness. The intimate space features Arabascato marble, black and white steel fixtures, concrete and Birch ply softened with signature grey surfaces.
George wanted to create a space that is harmonious with the brand and design a store that was calm and effortless. Every element was considered to elevate the customer experience and the product on display. The use of the datum and a strong sense of subtlety creates the sense of calm you feel when moving around the space.
Situated on Gould Street, the Bondi Beach Jac + Jack store is the latest addition to the area’s emerging culture and style precinct.
