Lorikeet by Dayne Lawrie Constructions is the epic final product of a families vision to build their dream home on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Located in Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland this residential design and construction project is another addition to the already impressive collection of projects by Dayne and Nadia from Dayne Lawrie Constructions. DLC used modern design and constructions techniques to create a truly breath taking final product.

Personally residing on the Sunshine Coast gave the DLC team a unique insight into the design trends of the area. DLC used a responsive and accountable approach to ensure that all the clients requests and queries were addressed quickly and professionally. This project was a truly collaborative design approach.

Concrete paired with solid timber joinery was used to give this home a distinctively coastal feel. The open plan living spaces and large open entrance ways were a conscious design choice to regulate temperature within the tropical Queensland climate. This is an energy efficient way to keep to occupants comfortable during the hottest parts of the year.

White marble tiling is paired with bare concrete walls to create a sophisticated and stylish design atmosphere within the home. The minimalist nature of the interior design meant that the stunning natural materials are show in all their glory.

Celling fans became a design staple throughout the bedrooms as the Dayne Lawrie Constructions team sought energy efficient ways to control temperature.

The most visually pleasing aspect of the project is the outdoor living space and pool area. The landscape architecture provides the entire space with a distinctively tropical feel. An outdoor kitchen and dining area allows the clients to easily entertain large groups of friends and family.

Lorikeet by Dayne Lawrie Constructions in the realisation of a families dream for a tropical paradise to call home.
