The house reflects the idea of geometric design through the use of balance, calm and space.
Located in Melbourne’s sunny suburb of Brighton, this home is complimented by its surrounding environment of fresh sea air and light.
With an abundance of natural light pouring in from the ceiling height windows at the front of the house, the building’s geometric styled architecture is exposed and on show.
Mim Design created a sense of reflection throughout each space, as the light casts geometric shadows throughout the home, creating a sense of openness and space. With each view becoming a key feature, and each element within the house proportionally creating a sculptural form.
From the front entry, leading through to the lounge with its elegantly curved fireplace, the space feels soft and warm. Light streams through the windows, and natural elements such as smoked oak floors, elegant grey marble, and black stained timber, create a muted sense of luxury.
