Malvern East Home
by SmarterBATHROOMS+

The Malvern East Home by SmarterBATHROOMS+ is residential bathroom renovation project in the Victorian suburb of Malvern East.
A young professional East Malvern couple wanted to take their impractical, dated early 90’s bathroom and separate toilet and convert it into one large luxurious bathroom. The clients wanted the space to feel soft and aline with the Victorian style of the home, with modern inclusions and a few ‘wow’ factors along the way.
The space was not only for the clients to enjoy, but also a space that their guests would feel comfortable. The couple had feature tiles already selected that the room needed to be moulded around. As well as luxury inclusions in mind such as heated towel rails and under-floor heating.
The artistic curved wall has been included into the design to highlight the clients feature Carrara marble fan tiles. Mirroring the soft curve of the stunning stone bathtub, gives the bathroom a soft luxurious feel making this the talking point of the room.
Imported porcelain format wall and floor tiles and the grey scale of the room compliment the feature tiles, giving the bathroom a modern take in a Victorian home.
Completing the clean fresh look is a custom-built shaving cabinet and vanity unit with LED strip lighting giving the space a soft glow. It’s no surprise that the client’s were absolutely ecstatic with the finished product.
For the Malvern East Home SmarterBATHROOMS+ have taken the provided feature wall tiles and come up with something really special in this space.
