The renovation was a unique one. Originally one large family home, my husband’s actually, and we renovated it into two townhouses. It is located in Avondale Heights overlooking the Maribyrnong River. It originally had over 40k bricks which my father in law laid himself back in the 70’s. You can see some of that brickwork we have retained and repurposed in some of the bedrooms and the kitchen/lounge room. We even turned my husband’s childhood bedroom into a jungle-themed room for our boys.
