Centered around reconnecting the building to the landscape surrounding Northwood House, Dangar Barin Smith separates small terraces in the garden into two distinct spaces – a lawn level next to the house divided by a massive sandstone wall and lower more heavily planted area. Using exotic plants including the star jasmine, bougainvillea and strelitzia, as well as a small succulent garden adjacent to the pool, the celebration of natural materials prevail.
